Is there special pricing for coaches and teams?
The the Sk8gear Store Store was started as a team service to get specialized competitive skates not normally carried by rink skate shops. We want to continue to support roller sports by offering special discounts to teams with recurring or bulk orders as well as active roller sports coaches. Email email@example.com to get a discount code for your group.
Do you offer price matching?
The the Sk8gear Store Store certainly wants your business, so we will do what we can to match pricing. Each year there are price increases and the the Sk8gear Store Store cannot always match the price of a product another merchant may have had in their inventory for a while. Our services are based on premium skates built to your specs and current models, so overstocked items are not common. To confirm prices, just ask and provide a valid link to the item you are inquiring about so the the Sk8gear Store Store can verify the information. If the the Sk8gear Store Store can get your business, we will try.
How long will it take for my order to ship out?
Most parts orders can ship out within 48 hours provided it is not a special order item and is currently in stock. Frames only (no boot mounted) usually ship within 7 days. Complete skates shown are always quickly assembled as ordered using fresh stock not prebuilt and stored. Most ship in 7-14 days, but may take up to 6 weeks if they include custom assembled items. Customized skate boots and "Pimp My Skates" services should allow 8-10 weeks depending on your design and assembly time. If you need skates or gear by a certain date, please check timing before ordering. The Sk8gear Store Store will try our best to get your order in time for special events or competitions.
I am looking for an item and can't find it. Do you take special orders?
Yes, the the Sk8gear Store does have access to many more items than are listed on this site, but we are not an all-purpose online skate shop. If you can get it at your local rink pro shop, please shop where you skate to help our sport. For other needs, all you have to do is use our custom ordering forms or email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what specialty item you need. We will let you know if the Sk8gear Store can get it to you, the pricing and the timing.
If I ordered the wrong size, can it be returned?
Help us to keep our prices low by avoiding unnecessary returns/exchanges due to improper sizing. Please measure your feet carefully and check the the Sk8gear Store Size Chart before ordering. If you are unsure about measurements, we provide information on how to measure feet to order skates. The the Sk8gear Store Store encourages you to use care when ordering skates, because some custom items cannot be returned. If you have any questions about sizing, feel free to ask us for help.
Some items may be returned, but only with pre-authorization. Restocking fees may be applied to returns - $5.00 per box - plus 25% restocking fee. Items cannot be returned once they have been worn or used or if the box has been marked in any way.
You will be responsible for return shipping back to our location and re-shipping back to you.
Custom ordered skates, custom boots and "Pimp My Skates" items CANNOT be returned.
No skates can be returned for any reason once they have been used.
Can you ship to a Post Office Box?
We use a variety of shipping providers, and most do not deliver to PO Boxes, only physical addresses. If you need P.O. Box delivery, ask prior to ordering.
Can I get a special shipping quote for my order?
This can be done, but only if you contact us first. Once you process your order through our shopping cart with automatic shipping charges, the the Sk8gear Store Store cannot adjust the shipping amount. But with notice, the the Sk8gear Store Store will calculate your total with shipping to your specs and provide you with an invoice for your order instead of using the shopping function of the the site.
Do you ship internationally?
The Sk8gear Store Store does take international orders, but only via PayPal secure transactions to protect our business and our customers, too. Additional shipping charges may apply and will be included in your shopping cart pricing. If you have a special international shipping order, please contact the Sk8gear Store for pricing.
How can I figure out my size?
Check out the simple skate sizing information page to help choose the right skate fit. If you send those measurements, we can confirm your size.
How can I order a custom skate?
Choose your boot, plate or frame, wheels, bearings, toe stops and other accessories with one of our custom order forms or via email. There is also a charge for mounting the plate or frame. If you need assistance in the process, please consult with us and the the Sk8gear Store will be glad to help you fly on the skate of your dreams.
Is there another way to place my order?
In addition to online orders in our shopping cart, the the Sk8gear Store Store can accept orders by email at any time 24 hours a day at email@example.com and will invoice you for your order via PayPal. The the Sk8gear Store Store processes all orders individually. Additionally, the Sk8gear Store Store checks service time before you place your order. No back orders on items that are not available. We immediately refund items not available, unless you agree to wait.
